Is my computer being updated by a WSUS server? Here’s a quick way to determine if your computer is using WSUS or not to provide Windows Updates to you.
You can check quickly by looking at the Windows Update screen in Windows 7 and identifying if it says “Managed by your system Administrator” such as the screenshot below indicates.
If your computer is not using a WSUS for Windows Updates, you will see a message similar to the one in the screenshot below.
