Navigating in Windows by keyboard is second nature to me. I’ve been doing it since I’ve been using Windows. It’s just a lot more efficient for me to keep my hands on the keyboard after typing something when I need to navigate rather than picking my hand up to move the mouse.

5 Useful Keyboard Shortcuts

Here are my 5 most useful keyboard shortcuts for Windows that I use all the time.

  1. Winkey – Brings up the Start menu where I typically type what I need to access
  2. Winkey+Spacebar – Show Desktop preview
  3. Winkey+T – Cycle through taskbar items
  4. Winkey+Up Arrow or Down Arrow – Maximize or Minimize current window in focus
  5. Winkey+Left Arrow or Right Arrow – Tiles the window on the Left or Right side of the screen

How to create a conference, or “3-way” call on Cisco 7960 phone…

    1. Begin with one caller already on the line (It does not matter who initiates the first call)
    2. Press the “More” then press the “Conference” SoftKey that is located just below the display screen.
    3. Dial the number of the phone number of the person you wish to add to the conference.
    4. Once the second party is on the line, press the “Conference” button again to join all parties together.

Subsequent additions to your conference call can be added by following steps 2, 3 & 4 with a maximum
conference of 4 callers, including yourself.

This is pretty awesome.  I saw a cute JavaScript code that will do the Harlem Shake for the page you’ve loaded. Navigate to the site you want;  facebook, google+, whatever.

    Copy This Code

Copy the following code to your clipboard.  Note:  If you hover over the code, you’ll see a box pop up on the top right of the code;  click the paper icon to copy to clipboard.
