TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, OH —
Four people have been accused in the stabbing death of Tuscarawas County teen Justin Barnard, but now the case is half over after another defendant pleads.Thursday, Justin Stephan pleaded no contest to six counts including aggravated murder, two counts of murder, two counts of tampering with evidence and one count of gross abuse of a corpse.
Diane Dinkelman has already pleaded guilty in the case.
Barnard’s body was found floating in the Tuscarawas County River in September 2005. A motive for the killing has not been released.
Stephan’s sentencing won’t come until after Chad Bowditch goes to trial in mid-March.
